Musical talents abound in Nigeria; many of whom lack the wherewithal to promote themselves or their music. 88.5 UFM believes in supporting up and coming musicians, giving them a platform to showcase their talent to the world. So here’s our own way of helping. Every week, 88.5 UFM gives 5 up and coming acts the chance to have their music played on the radio for the first time ever. NextGen proceeds to shine the spotlight on the act whose music won over our listeners on first listen.

Kolawole Williams is a Nigeria Afro Hip Hop / Afro Fusion artist, songwriter, and co-founder of ‘Lifestyle Group’.

With over 30k Streams on all DSPs, his debut EP T.I.M.I ( Till I Made It ) With star features from Terry Apala and production credits from Rexxie , Ozedikus , Nanobeatz & Spyritmyx .
& top singles like; Round One & Cuddle are popular fan favorites.

He describes his music as a blend of Western melodies and Afrocentric Elements, influenced by his personal experiences, environment and creative imagination
